Summary: Sole proprietorship for infrastructure, automation, and IoT consulting, plus hosting and product work. I run the company’s platform myself, as code.

• Run a 6-node bare-metal Kubernetes cluster with Flux GitOps: every change goes through a PR, External Secrets pulls credentials from AWS Secrets Manager, and default-deny NetworkPolicies cover every namespace.
• Migrated about 10 stateful workloads (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Home Assistant, AdGuard DNS, a macOS VM) between NFS file servers by creating new PersistentVolumes instead of mutating bound ones, and documented the export, UID-ownership and root_squash failure modes along the way.
• Built an AWS serverless IoT device platform (SAM, Lambda, IoT Core, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront): a containerized cloud firmware compiler, OTA updates through the device shadow, and an ESP32 device-management library with a captive portal, remote settings and button-driven network reset.
• Designed and built an ESP32-S3 head tracker (BNO085 sensor fusion to PPM trainer input) that is managed and updated through that platform.
• Built monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana and Loki: per-node early-warning (disk-fill forecasts, read-only root detection, thermals), SMART disk health, UniFi network health, and Discord alerting tuned to cut noise. Audited the cluster after a NetworkPolicy rollout and fixed the gaps that had left metrics collection blind.
• Manage automation as code with AWX (self-reconciling config-as-code) and Ansible, and expose infrastructure to AI agents only through scoped RBAC, allow-lists and token-gated MCP endpoints.
• Advise clients on practical infrastructure improvements, networking, and containerization, and mentor teams on automation practices.
